A quick update from FWT (yes we're coming back!)
And better than ever!
As many of you have noticed and asked about, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus since January. This was slightly unexpected — hence the lack of notice — but I just wanted to reach out to the community and say yes, I’ll be back in full force in April! All is well, and I sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out.
In the meantime, here’s a little token of my appreciation for you all: a full playback of a recent panel, The basics of being a freelancer, featuring two of my favorite guests, L’Oreal Thompson Payton and Chelsea Cirruzzo. There’s something in there for everyone, whether you’re new to the freelance life or a seasoned vet.
ALSO: The full schedule for April’s panels and workshops is set! Click here to see the entire lineup. Events next month include workshops on structuring longform features, writing better personal essays, selling a book, building a sustainable freelance business, writing stronger pitches, and much more. (I am also still offering one-on-one coaching and pitch reviews — book a session here.)
Finally, a quick note for all paid subscribers of any level: I am going to add an extra three months to your subscription at no charge to make up for my absence. No action needed on your part — I’ll send you all a separate email with more info.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding, and I’ll see you in April!
Okay bye ily!
